Container ship at sea off Slapton Sands - 4th June 2012 - panoramio

About Us

Thirty years of getting cargo where it actually needs to go, on time, on paper, on record.

Campus Quill is an agency built for one industry only: marine shipping and logistics. No side businesses, no divided attention — just freight, ports and the people who move both.

  • Regional port authorities
  • Tier-one container operators
  • Bulk and breakbulk carriers
  • Freight forwarding networks
  • Terminal operations groups

Started on a dock, not in a boardroom

Campus Quill was founded by former terminal planners and ship’s agents who were tired of watching logistics firms bolt shipping onto a general practice as an afterthought. We built a company that does one thing: marine cargo, from berth application to final delivery note.

  • Every consultant has worked a vessel call
  • Single-industry focus since day one
  • Offices built around port operating hours, not office hours

What we actually do

Vessel & port operations

Berth scheduling, stevedoring coordination and terminal liaison handled by people who have stood on the bridge.

Cargo & documentation

Bills of lading, customs filings and cargo manifests managed to the standard port authorities expect first time.

Fleet advisory

Route, charter and compliance guidance for owners and operators running mixed container and bulk fleets.

Questions clients ask before signing

Do you only work with large carriers?

No. We agent for independent owners with a single bulk carrier as often as we do for larger container fleets — the vessel size changes the paperwork, not our attention.

Can you cover a port you’re not resident in?

Yes, through our partner agent network, though response times and rates are best in the twelve cities where we keep staff on the ground.

What happens if a vessel is delayed or diverted?

Your assigned agent stays on the file end to end and reworks berth windows, customs filings and onward logistics directly with the terminal, not through a call queue.

Do you handle customs and compliance, or just scheduling?

Both. Documentation and compliance sit in the same team as operations, so a hold at customs and a berth delay get solved by one conversation, not two departments.

Bring your next vessel call to people who only do this

Tell us the port, the cargo and the date. A Campus Quill agent who has worked that route will call back within one working day.
